Error in EAM asset Group creation

1. Error: "Insert procedure failed with the following error message 22" is caused by the fact that Install Base parameters are not set.

Solution is to setup Install Base Parameters and freeze (even if customer does not use Install Base, still the
record must exist because of the integration between EAM and IB) - see Doc ID 884201.1

 2. Also it is important to add the default UOM.  This could be another cause for error of type "Insert procedure failed with the following error message"

Default UOM can be set by profile option INV: Default Primary Unit of Measure, or, if customer business case does not permit this, it can be set at Asset Group Template level - see Doc ID 813563.1

 3. If trying to create an asset group in the Master Item form, and error "Asset Group must be unit effective"
is received:

     a)  The solution is to create a PJM organization parameter record .
Navigate: Project Manufacturing Super User > Setup > PJM Organization Parameters > Save (there is no need to enter any value, just open up the form and save).  The requirement is only that the PJM organization parameter record exists. It does need to contain any data other than default data. (even if customer does not use PJM, still the record must exist) - see Doc ID 879545.1

 4. If , when creating Asset Group form you get the error:  'Expense Account is required when Inventory Asset Value is "No" and Inventory Item is "Yes"'

    a)   The solution is to Set an Expense Account at the Master Organization Level (INVENTORY-->SETUP--ORGANIZATIONS--PARAMETERS).  Expense Account may be set at Child ORG level, but  NOT set at the Master Organization Level.
Missing Expense Account setup at the Master Organization Level  - see Doc ID 1113173.1
